Class odds and diamond cost
What each class actually costs you in diamonds, worked out from its roll chance.
The wiki publishes the roll chances but not what they cost. Each roll is independent, so the chance of still not having a class after n rolls is (1 − p)ⁿ. The columns below are that arithmetic applied to each class: the average number of rolls, what those rolls cost at 40 diamonds each, and how many rolls it takes before you are 50% and then 90% likely to have seen it.
| Class | Chance | Average rolls | Average cost | 50% likely by | 90% likely by |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter Class | 40% | 2 rolls | 80 diamonds | 2 rolls | 5 rolls (200 diamonds) |
| Bag Specialist | 22% | 5 rolls | 200 diamonds | 3 rolls | 10 rolls (400 diamonds) |
| Cash Treasurer | 15% | 7 rolls | 280 diamonds | 5 rolls | 15 rolls (600 diamonds) |
| Diamond Treasurer | 11% | 9 rolls | 360 diamonds | 6 rolls | 20 rolls (800 diamonds) |
| Rake Specialist | 6% | 17 rolls | 680 diamonds | 12 rolls | 38 rolls (1,520 diamonds) |
| Blower Specialist | 4% | 25 rolls | 1,000 diamonds | 17 rolls | 57 rolls (2,280 diamonds) |
| Handy Man | 2% | 50 rolls | 2,000 diamonds | 35 rolls | 114 rolls (4,560 diamonds) |
- These are computed from the community-reported chances, not measured in game. If the wiki's chances are wrong, so are these.
- Average is not a target. Half of players hit Handy Man later than the average, and there is no pity system that guarantees it.
- Rolling does not consume a previous class — you are rolling for an upgrade, so the Starter Class 40% outcome is the wasted roll.
